Pg.32 - (Lecture III : Future Prognostications):- As regards English theatre, Alkazi staged a number of foreign plays in the fifties. Pg.32 - Nadkarni saw Alkazi's 'Hamlet' on the stage of the St. Xavier's college. Hall in 1948 or 1949 when he was 18 years old. He covered Alkazi's radio productions of Macbeth for the paper in which he worked. Pg.33 - Nadkarni says that he could never have become a drama critic without the support of Alkazi's Theatre unit Bulletin.

Founder of the theatre unit school of Dramtic Arts in Bombaym, he edited its Bulletin, one of the pioneer journals in teh fields of drama in the country. He received the Sangeet Natak Akademi's Award as Best Producer, in 1962. He broadcasts, writes and lectures on theatre and art. He is known for his work in scenic design, and sereral of his stage - sets have been featured in 'Stage Design Throughout the world Sice 1950.
